La Campa Village
La Campa is a small village located 10 miles from Gracias Lempira in Honduras- Accessible by dirt road. (We Highly advise sUV or Truck)
When you arrive - You will easily Spot the Famous Old Colonial Church in the center of town- Behind it, marks the ending platform of the La Campa Zipline experience.

Standing on the edge
The canopy starts up hill, with with the first zipline ranging 300 meters from the ground, offering the most breathtaking views of El Rio Campa River Canyon and La Campa village.

Length & Speed
There are six zip lines in total, up to 1km long- with speeds up to 140 Kilometers per hour depending on wind direction in the canyon.

Facts of La Campa Canopy Project:
Length: 600 Meters in its longest part, consisting of six ziplines
Height: 200 Meters
Cable Load Capacity: 27,700 Pounds (14 tons). Healthy trees and rocks are used to anchor cables with an extra safety cable.
Design: with sophisticated computer techniques that model even the strength of cannon winds.
Designer: Gilbert Huguet of French nationality. Environmental Engineer, instructor and guide of expeditions of mountaineering in the highest peaks 4 continents. First builder of canopies in Honduras.
Time Of Construction: Four Weeks
Constructed by: Community Members of La Campa Lempira
Cost to build: 1.6 million Lempiras
Goal: The goal of La Campa Canopy Project was create a tourist attraction that will generate jobs and funds for other community benefits & projects.
